  I am the person that shared the lamp story.  Thanks for your imput about the sleep paralysis idea.  I don&#039;t know much about that but this is the only time that I have had an experience like this and it seems odd that it started with the appearance of the lamp and ended as soon as the lamp was gone.  It couldn&#039;t have been subconscious because at one point I believed the lamp to be gone and it continued to happen until the lamp was truly gone.  I wish I could believe that it was sleep paralysis though cause that would be a lot less unsettling ........</description>

		<description>The story of the haunted lamp was some serious nightmare fuel! I have to say that I suspect it was a case of sleep paralysis though. I had that condition myself as a kid, complete with the freaky and frightening hallucinations.
