Though, there are labratory studies being done right now that are working on the manipulation of 'oldering' genes in worms- this is far from a viable science for humans. Also, if humans are capable of this- is any other biological life that is as well? Why do they also get old and die...and if belief system is the main cause for this as she posits- then do...dogs believe they get old much sooner than we do? This idea she has is interesting, simply not grounded in any biological reality- though I believe that we are multi-dimensional beings, I also believe we are subject (particularily our biological matter) to the 'laws' of the material plane. These 'laws' may be subject to, not only, the great forces of energy that make up the material world as we know it, and not least, to our own energy and potentials, but to say that it is simply possible today to live for centuries by beliving that we can is - in my view- a little too out there. This is food. I really love the way she merges her religious training with a broader understanding of what is spiritual consiousness, the reality of the universe and the world, based on what we understand is possible vis-a-vis quantum reality. I don't think she's too out there- I think she's simply connected which, unfortunately, in my view, is a relatively rare thing. If anyone looks deeply at theoretical science, current defence science (check out the BBC series 'The Future' I think, Michio Kaku- my spelling might be off)- she's simply merging these aspects into a big picture. No doubt, this is not the accurate picture- I think we can't really know it fully because we are limited beings in this state of being as humans. However, like Dr.Hardcastle, I believe that we are multi-dimentional beings who are only aware of the tip of the tip of the iceburg in terms of what is possible, and what is 'real'. Her objections to the theory seemed to rest on semantics and her rather nebulous concept of "cosmological consciousness". I was not impressed.
