Hypnotism, Regression and Teleportation with Dr. Bruce Goldberg – Paranormal Podcast 117

Hi Deb, I do feel for your loss. It's unfortunate but not totally surprising. You know how you hear people say to use your heart? I have always been fascinated by time travel, teleportation.... And when I first hear Goldberg on coasttocoast I was captivated by all his stories and believed him. However, tonight I just got back from Dr Bruce Goldberg workshop at the Conscious Life Expo and after paying $80 for the workshop for me and my wife, although I truly admire his work and really want to get into it -- the hypnosis didn't work for me or my wife -- as far as I know, I don't think it worked for anyone, there was about good 50 people. I felt cheated though we're told in large group its not as effective. I am not bias against him in any negative way but in fact bias in a positive way from the beginning and through out the entire hypnosis process, relaxing non-performance anxiety - but its when question and answer that threw me off. It almost seem as if he came here to sell his cd and books. He barely scratched thr surface of the questions and move on to the next. The vibes just wasn't right. I still kept a positive attitude and wanted to ask Bruce some questions after. But I couldn't even get him to focus on more than 5-10 seconds max with one sentence response, its very rude to say -sorry, need to talk to someone else. Can't they wait? Just for 1mins, I mean this whole ordeal was about buying his stuff. Went in with the most positve, came out wanting more. I certainly understands he on time but HEART tells me he is about money, and that is a very self serving spirit. He is not at all humble or compassinate... I know a lot of true masters even at the height of their fame such as near Noble price physicist Nassim Haramein, brilliant PhD and discoverer and found the missing holy grail equation that Einstein tried all his life and failed - proving using a single equation to explain HoloFracto Universe and mathematically make sense of submit-atomic atom to the largest of galaxies and multi-verse! And he is so down to earth so humble so filled with joy and sparkle eyes when you talk to him face to face... Not so with Goldberg in person. He is about "you know who I am? How dare you question me?" I do not doubt he has develop something.... But ultimately it boils down to Service to Self or Service to Others while you're still in this karma cycle.

Stay away from this fellow; he's all about the money. In the summer of 2009, I had a very nasty experience with him. I called his office in Californina to inquire about his hypnotherapy work. Dr. Goldberg told me that I would have to travel to the US and book a series of 5 back-to-back sessions and stay the duration of 1 week in the USA. My mistake was I gave him my credit card info up front. He immediately processed the cost of 2 sessions on my credit card. Two hours after speaking with him, I called him back to tell him I could not afford the cost of air travel, hotel accommodations, meals, etc. plus $2500.00 for the sessions. This iimmediately infuriated him and he flipped out in ANGER; he started screaming at me about his being a world famous doctor and in his terms "a pretty important person". He refused to refund me in full and only when my bank became involved did he reimburse me $450.00. He told me he would never, ever in any lifetime have anything to do with me and for me to never contact him again. He's very diabolical and I believe dangerous and people need to practice caution around such characters. After this incident he was a guest on the Coast to Coast AM show and he mentioned that he would do therapy work , with clients, over the phone if they could not afford the associated costs of travelling. No such olive-branch was ever offered me.

Hello. I heard dr. goldberg on another interview in which he offered a deal with the purchase of his latest book. I called to confirm the deal and this is the conversation:
me Hello, I am calling about the deal you offered in your interview.
dr.g in a hurried nasty voice do you have a computer? I am too busy to talk to you, I have too many things to do. I am too busy.
Then he hung up. But get this-- in less than 5 minutes he called me back!!
Asked me if I had placed an order. When I said no and tried to explain --
He repeated his I am too busy to talk to you routine and hung up again.
What a weiner.

Tests to verify the possibility of time travel have been made. Unfortunately Google is completely useless for searches that include "time" and "travel", but there have been well-publicized meetings where people who've traveled backward in time can come and present their evidence.

So far no one has, and that includes people like "Doctor" Bruce Goldberg.

He discredited himself almost immediately. He is obviously sexist, so I will not be listening to anything he has to say.

If people can 'see' the future, then the future has already happened. The only things that have 'happened' are past events. You can't changed what happned, becuase what has happened is the past, then you can't change the future, cause it always has happened. Thus the past is the future.
Right now im typing, and every letter i have typed is in the past, and every letter i am about to type is in the future, if i delete a key with back space then it already happened and i had no choice in the matter. I can not change that, becuase it all has happened.

Dr Goldberg sounds like he's been exposed to the good psycho-analytical meds! This is my very first podcast from this site (blackberry download) and I am really disappointed with this content. Maybe a disclaimer before the show should mention that the info from the guest is solely from the perception of the guest. Dr Goldberg is an idiot. I agree with some of the other posts that he is a sexist. On 3 separate examples, he mentions women in a demeaning matter (making cookies if you are female, 3 women on a boat with sexist names, and him teleporting to an isolated beach five feet from a beautiful woman).

However, I believe that he may be on to some truths, but not from his thoroughly distorted viewpoint.

Parallel universes where we can go and exchange our energies with another universe to our liking? So, here is a question, which is the dominate universe? Obviously if we can go and exchange energies with other universes then what stops the other universes from coming over to OUR universe and taking exchanging our energies?

First, wonder why all his case studies of either past life regression or future life progression, invariably projects people who are in deep trouble. That to me is a big credibility issue. Just how real are these case studies? Second, he seems to condition individuals to believe that all past life regressions appear in dull colors, hazy and often as if you are viewing an old black-and-white movie; but, all future life progressions will show up in bright, colorful and extremely lively settings. By conditioning the mind in this way, is he speaking the truth? Why is it that good old earth patterns in the past are lifeless, colorless? Cannot be true. Third, he cannot obviously use teleportation for silly purposes of going from cold Maryland to hot Florida to spend a couple of hours on the beach and return back! There are better uses for such powers, if indeed someone has it. Teleportation must help in your evolution (spiritual, physical or emotional - does not matter); but you must grow. Finally, he seems almost deceptive when he begins to claim that he is only an agent and if you experienced it, it is all your work and if you did not experience it, it is all due to forbidden knowledge! That to me is crazy.

One of my favourite PP shows ever, albeit not because I found Goldbery credible. The man is an obvious charlatan but some of the stuff he comes out with is pure comedy gold. You'd have to be exceptionally gullible to believe his yarn about teleportation.

So glad to see others agree!!! I love this podcast, and totally enjoyed all the OTHER shows. But my word, this man was replusive! I got about 10 mintues into it to also, and had to skip along to someone less self absorbed. Yuck.

haha, this guy really roused some people...I didn't find his questionable comments to be in good taste by any stretch, but it struck me that he may be a man who is just going through a mid-life crisis. Or he is really one of the local guys from small town Alberta here where I am from who thinks that these kinds of comments are perfectly ok. However unprofessional those comments were, for me, it didn't negate the fact that he was talking about a very interesting topic. While I am highly skeptical about his story of teleportation- with sand on his shorts and a tan...it is the merging of science of the subconscious with that of theoretical quantum physics that is really cutting edge. For this, he should be recognized. This is a topic worthy of further exploration.

I agree with most of you - I listened to the first 10 minutes and stopped it. For a person that wants to break away our stereotypes of Hypnotism, he sure contributes to a few stereotypes of his own. I'm going to go bake some cookies now.

Glad to see it wasn't just me. I found Dr. Goldberg to be extremely sexist...so much so that I just ~now~ was able to finish this podcast. To each their own.

Still love Paranormal Podcast, though, so I'll take the bad with the good. :)

I have a theoretical question for Dr. Bruce Goldberg as well as the rest of the listeners. If a person is actually able to hypnotize themselves into foreseeing the crimes of the future and allowed those crimes to proceed, shouldn't there be criminal charges against that person? Dr. Goldberg spoke about a person who foresaw their murder via drive-by shooting. She was able to look at the paper and see someone murdered by a shooting on the same day at the same intersection as she was suppose to be killed on. If she has that knowledge and doesn't try to change the outcome then she too should be accountable for the crime. I believe they call that accessory. Same goes for these people who said they had been predicting the events of 911 years before. Well they too should be held for those deaths since they had that information. People should be held accountable for what they say or the claims they make.

I could not finish listening to this sexist ignoratn idiot! There has GOT to be more interesting, intelligent hypnotist experts in the country that could have been interviewed!

What did that mean? The males who bake cookies do not go into hypnotic states OR males simply never bake cookies? Okay thought I would let that pass but then went onto to hear him imply that the hypnotists that are entertainer are all grossly overweight women who wear too much make-up!! Obviously he is easily threatened by females who don't only bake cookies!

Dr Goldberg came across as a repellent individual- sexist, self-serving and his bottom line - the almighty dollar. So many books (as he kept advertising) and so little credibility.

His comment that psychology is not a science but that HE is a scientist is laughable. He won't even be tested! Jim, I love your work but how you managed to do an interview with this idiot is beyond me. I have renewed respect for you.

Goldberg treats his listeners as if they are fools and does not even attempt to back up his RIDICULOUS claims.

I love this podcast and I was thrilled to see one done with Dr. Bruce Goldberg. I had read his book Past Lives, Future Lives and loved it! Although the whole podcast was great I was shocked that someone as educated and intelligent as Dr. Bruce Goldberg would made a statement like "making cookies if your female." Females also do all the other things he mentioned such as driving, researching, or using computers. I realize this statement in itself is not a big deal but it feeds a negative stereotype within our society.
I know we all stereotype to varying levels but its good to be aware so we can try to change them. Believe it or not I know a few men that make cookies. Good ones too ;)
