I had to listen to this podcast twice to make sure I didn’t miss anything, and now I’m convinced I didn’t….
It seemed long on wind and little on real substance. It was as if the guest just liked to hear herself talk….and I was also put off about the political comment and the reference to Wikipedia as if it should be regarded as a credible source.

I may still try to find the movie and see it because of the subject matter, but I think this particular guest did not give much in the way of content of the movie, only her own opinions on the subject. IMHO, she wasn’t the right person to give the interview.

I will go back to podcast #4 and listen to that one again……

I just listened or started listening to this episode and was also very put off by Suzanne’s political comment. It shows a dismissive nature to anyone who disagrees with her world view. This is also furthered by the Doug & Dave comment: “it was 1991 can’t we let it rest” well wasn’t the Bush election around the same time. Then she makes reference to Wikipedia which we all know any one of us can contribute to and has a very loose verification system, so where is the validity in that? I wish she would have just stuck to the topic, which I find very interesting but her credibility in my eyes is shot. Sorry Jim not sure I’ll finish listening to this episode. Keep up the good work.

I think the political comment was unnecessary as well. We do not discriminate on choice of political party here. All are welcome. I should have said that on the show.

Give or take almost half of the audience, no, there probably are not. Let’s try to drive away all of the right-handed listeners next.

Why did she even go there? This interview had nothing to do with partisan politics. She invalidated almost everything else she had to say with this bone-headed comment. Suzanne might be the greatest director ever for all I know, but she is a terrible interviewee.

At which point the republicans and the self-proclaimed and intellectuals will cause the destruction of the Earth by creating words that don’t exist on a whim and accidentally summoning all of the demons from the ninth plane of hell.

Sure wish they’d put it off a week and wait until after Christmas.
