Science is about dealing with that which can be measured and, recording tests where the results are measured and must be repeated.

That's it.

That is the definition of science.

It's not that science is not open to new ideas and that it is stuck in dogma, it is that things that can not be measured and repeated can not be proven by science.

That's it.

In this arena, if there are things that are true and real and factual, but are out of the reach of us because we can not detect them, measure them and repeat them, then science can not validate them.

That's it.

We are burdened because we can not bring these things into the range of science. Once our detection skills or repeatability skills improve, that may change.

HURRAH JIM!!! I am so glad that you brought up the question on reicarnation regarding numbers matching up. I have ALWAYS wondered that myself. That is pretty much the only thing that I am slightly confused about when it comes to that stuff and I am glad to hear that I am not the only one! My theory is that the original amount of souls may still be swapping in and out of lives because the ratio of original souls to the amount of people passing and being born each moment may somehow be linked in an interesting ratio.
