She was an investigative journalist, and covered some of the biggest stories and court cases of the mid-20th century, even securing a Pulitzer Prize nomination. When John F. Kennedy was assassinated, she vowed to blow the lid off the cover-up and expose the truth, but died trying. Sarah Jordan-Heintz was the first journalist to print the name of the man who romanced Dorothy and then became the number one (unofficial) suspect when she died.
